Natalia Noble, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Her special fields of interest include specialty contacts and treating ocular disease.
Dr. Noble became an optometrist because it provides her the best opportunity to help diagnose patient conditions as early as possible to preserve and maximize their vision. She especially enjoys interacting with her patients and making a difference in their lives.
When she is not treating patients, Dr. Noble enjoys spending time with her family and experiencing nature. She also has interests in genealogy, music, and practicing yoga.
Laura Blodgett Fernandez, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from State University of New York – New York City in 2011, following her completion of a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from the University of Rochester in 2006.
During her training, Dr. Blodgett Fernandez completed rotations at the Northport VA Medical Center on Long Island and the East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Brooklyn, NY. Before settling in Orlando, Dr. Blodgett Fernandez previously practiced in New York City, Boston, and Chicago. She is passionate about medical mission trips and has worked on several of them in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Peru. She is proficient in conducting eye exams in both English and Spanish.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Blodgett Fernandez is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She also enjoys skiing, running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Jordan Claboine, O.D. obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Prior to that, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida.
Dr. Claboine practices general optometry with a passion for providing exceptional vision and ocular health care to his patients. His extensive clinical training and externship experiences have enriched his expertise in the field. Dr. Claboine’s dedication to community service is evident through his involvement in various outreach programs, such as participating in Student Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH) and traveling to Ghana to perform eye exams and provide spectacle correction to populations in need.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Claboine has demonstrated strong leadership qualities throughout his career. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the National Optometric Association (NOA) and has served as Trustee for the Broward County Optometric Association (BCOA).
In recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions, Dr. Claboine received several honors and awards, such as the Mutti Scholarship for inspiring others, the Student Leader of the Year award for his exceptional dedication to student welfare, and The Dr. Lyle Aloysius John Gassmann Memorial Award, recognizing his humanitarian characteristics, leadership qualities, and service to others.
With a commitment to excellence, community service, and continuous learning, Dr. Jordan Claboine is a valuable asset to the field of optometry. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys cycling and traveling to National Parks.
Catherine Pickering, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2015 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology cum laude from Christopher Newport University. Her special fields of interest include contact lenses and myopia control.
Dr. Pickering pursued a career in optometry as a result of her grandmother who went blind. Becoming an optometrist gives her the opportunity to help people like her grandmother. She gets particular enjoyment from helping her patients obtain their best vision possible.
When Dr. Pickering is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with their daughter. Several of her hobbies include volunteering, bike riding, baking, and doing crafts.
Neil Macali, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston School of Optometry in 1989 and founded Macali Eye Clinic in 1990. He received his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Rockhurst College and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida.
Dr. Macali’s interest in becoming an optometrist came as a result of having a close family member who was also an optometrist. He very much enjoys helping people, and he derives great satisfaction from improving the lives of his patients through better vision and better health. He specializes in hard-to-fit contact lens cases, CRT lenses, dry eye treatment, and glaucoma treatment.
Dr. Macali is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, the Central Florida Optometric Association, and the Winter Garden Rotary Club.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Macali enjoys gardening, horticulture/propagation, reading, music, and playing piano. He also likes to travel and watch movies.
